Ker Floria, artist behind 'Sadvertising,' passes away

Ker Floria, the artist behind the Facebook page Sadvertising that caricatures the life and culture of the advertising industry through witty illustrations, has passed away.

Ker's siblings Chadd and Kenneth have posted about his passing on Facebook, along with other tributes from friends and colleagues.

Since he put up the Sadvertising page in 2019, Floria has managed to capture the struggles and quirks of the advertising industry. In a 2019 story from Adobo, Sadvertising was called as “the closest thing to the personification of the advertising industry’s sassy and witty side.”

Aside from being an artist, Ker was also a musician for OPM bands like HOTSI and Pop U.

The online outfit 8List.PH said that Ker's "relatable and amazing art will stay with us."
