They say that karma always bites back harder, and it seems that phrase was proven in the case of two thieves who were arrested by authorities after they sold the motorcycle that they stole back to its rightful owner.

According to a report by Philstar.com, the suspects—identified to be Mosram Adam and Sul Kipos from Pikit town in Cotabato province—were caught in an entrapment operation by authorities of the Cotabato City Police Precinct 1 led by Major John Vincent Bravo.

The owner of the stolen Honda XRM 125 motorcycle, Alliudin Aliman, assisted in the operation.

The duo first took off with Aliman's motorcycle after he parked it along a street in Barangay Rosary Heights 3 several days prior. Afterward, Aliman saw a photo of his stolen vehicle on Facebook after Adam and Kipos attempted to sell it online.

Seeing that the caption included contact numbers that interested parties can call for inquiries, Aliman got in touch with the two thieves by pretending that he wanted to purchase the motorcycle, with help from authorities.

Unaware of his identity, Adam and Kipos fell right into the entrapment plan and were arrested.

Aliman recovered his motorcycle from the scene and the two suspects are now behind bars in a police detention facility awaiting prosecution.
