Pet parents love dressing up their fur babies during the holidays. One owner is going viral for making her dog look like the Grinch. Netizens are split, with some saying it's cute while others are accusing her of animal abuse.
Ashley Spielmann took her dog to the groomers for the holidays and had her pup dyed green, red, and white to resemble the Christmas icon.
"When your groomer slays making your dog into the Grinch," she captioned on TikTok, showing pictures of the dying process.

The results had people online split. Some are loving the look and said they even want to Grinch-ify their dogs, too. "This is the cutest thing ever," wrote one commenter.
Others weren't as amused and expressed their concerns for the dog's health and safety. "Kinda looks like animal abuse to me, idk," said one netizen. "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should," added another.
One user likened the pet dye to how parents let their kids don crazy hair colors. "People on here saying it's awful... same parents letting their middle schoolers put about 14 different colors in their hair 🙄 I love it!!! 💚," they shared.
Some users pointed out how there are dyes safe for pets, but some dye jobs may cause allergic reactions in other dogs.
Spielmann looks to be unfazed by the negative comments, as she continued to post TikToks of her little Grinch online. She even clapped back at the noise, sarcastically writing "He's super abused" on a photo of the dog chilling on her bed.
