Beauty pageants aren't just a place to showcase beauty, but also where candidates can show their confidence and wit. The Top 5 Miss Globe 2021 delegates proved that they have all those and more at the final question and answer round of the pageant held in Albania.

Our country's very own Maureen Montagne took home the coveted Miss Globe crown, while Ester Ogechi Gabriel of Nigeria, Melike Bali of Turkey, Jhosskaren Carrizo Smiler of Venezuela, and Hailey Hamelin-Wilson of Canada completed the Top 5.

See how they answered during the Q&A portion.

MAUREEN MONTAGNE, Philippines
Miss Globe 2021

Do you think beauty is a merit? And how can we enrich it with other values?

I think that true beauty comes from within. To be a Miss Globe is to be a beauty that inspires. What makes us beautiful is our smiles, it's what we do for our community. It's how we give back to others, and it's how we carry ourselves through life. I believe that everyone has beauty in inside of them, and I believe it is our duty to share it with the world, and to give back, and to truly inspire others.

ESTER OGECHI GABRIEL, Nigeria
Miss Globe 2021 1st Runner-up

How would you interpret the saying of Mother Teresa, "If you can't feed 100 people, then just feed one."

If you can't feed 100 people, at least you can feed one. I believe that in life you don't have to have everything to be kind. I think what matters is your heart. You don't have to be super rich to help people. If you have the heart to share the liter you have even if it's a drop off water you give to a soul that is thirsty. He or she will appreciate it. So you don't have to have the whole word to be kind of show kindness. That is what it means by "If you can't feed 100 people at least feed one."

MELIKE BALI, Turkey
Miss Globe 2021 2nd Runner-up

Women make up 49% of the global workforce. What do you believe is the most important issue facing women in the workplace today? And why?

We would be different than men, but we are as strong as like men. For example. I will give an example from my country. When a woman give birth, when a woman have a child, some companies, some workplaces don't help the mother as much as she needs and her baby. In my opinion, in the example of the women in my country when they become a mother. They need more time for themselves and for their babies while they're working.

JHOSSKAREN CARRIZO SMILER, Venezuela
Miss Globe 2021 3rd Runner-up

What qualities and values do you have to deserve the Miss Globe crown?

I think all the girls deserve to win this contest... But I want to give to all the world, and to show all the women are more than beautiful.

HAILEY HAMELIN-WILSON, Canada
Miss Globe 2021 4th Runner-up

Why do you think volunteering is so important? And what are some of the causes that we should be more focused on?

I believe that volunteering is extremely important and I would like to encourage everybody to participate in volunteering. I feel that some of the topics that are most needed for volunteers are helping the homeless, helping with children. Because if we don't help with the homeless, how are we going to have a better future along with our children as well because the children are the key to our future.
