80 hotels, over 70% off: HSMA’s ‘September Online Sale’ offers travel promos that can be used at a later date
In an effort to boost the tourism industry in the country, the Hotel Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMA) is offering exclusive promos from over 80 hotels—and their terms of validity can be extended amid the pandemic.
Unlike their past sales, this year’s September Online Sale (SOS) will be a month-long event running from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15—80 participating locations comprised of 50 hotels, 30 resorts will offer up to 70% discounts and vouchers in the following locations:
Northern Manila
- Clark
- Bataan
- Ilocos
- Banawe
Metro Manila
- Ortigas, Pasig, QC
- Makati, BGC, Alabang,
- Manila Pasay, Paranaque
South areas
- Cavite
- Laguna
- Tagaytay
- Batangas
Visayas
- Boracay
- Iloilo
- Cebu
- Bohol
Mindanao
- Davao
- Palawan
As part of their initiative to revive tourism for the future, the validity of SOS vouchers is one to two years, with some promos having no expiration date.
In an interview with CNN Philippines, HSMI president Benjamin Martinez shared that over 1,600 vouchers have been sold as of Sept. 28.
Martinez also promised that the hotel staff of all participating hotels are 100% vaccinated and in compliance with the Department of Tourism and Bureau of Quarantine.
