“The BPI Institutional Banking Kohaku Golf Cup is not just a tournament; it’s a celebration of enduring relationships and the unwavering commitment we share with our valued Japanese clients. This year, BPI launched its latest campaign, “Do More with BPI,” as the bank underscores its commitment to uplift lives and upgrade customer experience by providing innovative products and services that will help clients achieve their financial goals, no matter their journey in life.

“At BPI, our journey has been marked by a relentless pursuit of progress, a commitment to achieving more, and the resolute dedication to ‘Do More’. As we celebrate our 172nd anniversary, we take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to our esteemed clients who have been an integral part of our journey,” said John-C Syquia, BPI Institutional Banking Head.

“As we commemorate the conclusion of the Kohaku Golf Cup, it’s crucial to recognize that the friendships forged, and the memories created on this course today are far more valuable than any trophy or award. It’s the connections we’ve made, and the moments shared that truly define the spirit of this tournament,” shared Jovi Alonso, BPI Chief Credit Officer.

BPI’s Kohaku Golf Cup was attended by the Japanese executives of its corporate clients. Since 2000, BPI has been developing alliances through establishing joint ventures with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company and Tokyo Century Corporation, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mizuho Bank, Ltd.
