And just like that, Miss Universe is crowning another queen in less than 6 weeks.

The organization and Israeli Tourism Minister Yoel Razvozov announced on Wed, Oct. 27, that the 70th Miss Universe Competition will air live from Eilat, Israel on Dec. 12, 2021 at 7pm ET. They also stated that singer and international star Noa Kirel will perform that evening.

While Miss Universe Organization have yet to give more details about the event, there are already so much to look forward to.

According to a report, Miss Universe is importing a “state-of-the-art, bespoke arena” from Portugal, with 5,000 seats and dimensions of 16.5 meters in height.

“Despite the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic placed in our path, we knew how to maintain the balance between health and the economy, to bring tourism back to Israel,” said Razvozov. “We needed to create tourism anchors that will promote and present Israel to the world as a vaccination nation that invites tourists to visit. The Miss Universe pageant is without doubt an important and significant anchor of this plan.”

In addition, United Arab Emirates will participate in the pageant for the first time, while Morocco returns after 40 years.

The last Miss Universe pageant was held last May 16, 2021 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood after several postponements. Mexico's Andrea Meza was crowned as Miss Universe 2020.

Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez will represent the country to the international pageant in December 2021 in Eilat, Israel.
