"Video games don't make us violent. Lag does," the popular gaming statement shirt goes. In Indonesia, however, not "lag" but a change in WiFi password led two young men to chase off with a machete individuals working at a mosque.

Indonesian news website Detikcom on Dec. 26 reported that the two young men allegedly chased off workers of a mosque while seemingly wielding a bladed weapon in East Medan as they couldn't play online games due to the new WiFi password. Local television network Kompas TV also made a similar report on Dec. 27.

Instagram user @tkpmedan shared a closed circuit television footage from inside the mosque on Dec. 24 around 11:00pm. The user said the incident happened at the Al Muslim Mosque in East Medan.

"Nazir Mosque Attacked Because of Changed Mosque WIFI Password," the video's sticker reads.

The video, which lasts less than a minute, showed the individuals in question walking down the hallway. One of them is carrying a machete-like weapon.

After a while, three men who were not initially in the video can be seen running in panic one by one.

The intruders, then, saunter into the scene again, headed to where the panic-stricken men went. Detikcom identified them as mosque guards.

East Medan police have already arrested the two individuals.

Kompol Rona Tambunan, East Medan's police unit head, also told Detikcom and Kompas TV that the two individuals have chased the workers as they're supposedly upset about the mosque management changing the WiFi password.

Rona only identified the arrested individuals via their initials.
