When Hidilyn Diaz lifted that 127-kg barbell to nab the Philippines’ first Olympic gold medal, she lifted the spirits of a nation as well. And now, the country is paying her forward.

What started with a promised P10 million pesos from the government thanks has grown into more and more pledges for the deserving weightlifter. Now, she has well over P30 million in monetary rewards, a P14-million Megaworld condo unit in Manila, a house and lot in Tagaytay, and, well, a priceless spot in history.

The Palace has also promised to look into increasing the allowance and for more overall benefits for Olympians amid her history-making win.

Aside from these huge accolades, businesses have also stepped up in promising their own incentives for Diaz—from covering her post-Olympics milk tea cravings to flights to anywhere in the world! Check out some of Hidilyn's lifetime perks that are only fitting for a lifetime-defining win.

 "Forever flyer"

In case Hidilyn wants to extend her post-Olympics rest to a full-blown vacation, AirAsia has pledged free flights for the 30-year-old for the rest of her life.

"Amidst challenges and struggles as we go forth with recovery, Hidilyn reminds us that no matter how heavy the weight we are carrying, inner strength, perseverance, and a heart of gold will help us power through," said AirAsia spokesperson and former journalsit Steve Dailisan.

Meanwhile, Philippine Airlines has also dubbed Hidilyn their first "forever flyer" as they're giving the athlete 80,000 free fly miles every year. For reference, the Philippines and the USA has over 8,207 miles between them. That's a lot of traveling.

Milk tea

After securing her Olympic medal, Hidilyn shared that she was excited to indulge in her favorite drinks like the tangy cheesecake milk tea—and the milk tea companies have heard her cravings.

Cha Tu Chak is offering her a year's supply of free milk tea in any of their branches while Cabin Brew Milk Tea in Dasmariñas is giving her the beverage free for life.
