It’s impossible to encounter a Filipino who hates sisig. The juicy meat and umami flavor are enough to make our mouths water. And don’t forget that satisfying crunch as soon as that meaty goodness hits our taste buds.

Sisig is made of chopped pork and seasoned with chili peppers, mayonnaise, calamansi, and onions. It’s perfect for pulutan or as a filling meal. One of the popular versions of this dish is found at Sisig Sa Rada which is located along Rada Street, Legazpi Village, Makati City.

Ask anyone working within the Makati CBD if they’re familiar with this “jollijeep” kiosk and you’ll get a surefire yes. Even Gabbi Garcia has given this dish her seal of approval in a Facebook post on Monday, June 28.

According to Gabbi, it was her first time to try Sisig Sa Rada's cult-favorite sisig, which was recommended by her boyfriend, actor-singer Kahlil Ramos.

For only P67, you can get a hefty plate of sisig that's served with warm rice. Don't be fooled by its simplicity because this dish is a lot more than it looks.

As soon as you receive your sisig, you're immediately hit with a fragrant, porky scent. It comes with a mixture of chopped pork, chili peppers, scrambled egg, calamansi, and a dollop of mayonnaise on the side. You need to mix the sisig before you dig in, so you can savor its unique flavor.

A satisfying, meaty goodness in every bite.

The stellar sisig has a satisfying, meaty goodness in every bite. The dish does not have the crunchiness of a typical sisig dish, but it delivers on flavor. It’s a perfect combination of salty, tangy, and spicy which makes it very addicting indeed.
