2018: Pioneered Shoppertainment with in-app livestreaming
If you’re one who enjoys interaction while shopping, LazLive is perfect for you. Lazada’s in-app livestream channel adds entertainment to your shopping experience, right from the comfort of your home.
At LazLive, shoppers, brands, and sellers can interact in real time, as well as have detailed product demonstrations. LazLive’s See-Now-Buy-Now feature also enables shoppers to simultaneously make a purchase while watching the livestream–perfect for a seamless shopping experience of getting a detailed explanation about a product while checking out!
2019: Launch of e-Ticketing
The e-Ticketing service under Lazada’s Digital Goods introduced new innovations into the local eCommerce space. These included Gift Cards for categories like Food & Beverage, Mom & Baby, Fashion, Beauty, and Retail. Lazada also launched LazadaForGood which was the first-ever Digital Giving platform by an eCommerce player in the Philippines with 11 local and international advocacy partners and over 27 NGOs. E-Ticketing continues to play a part in digital transformation.
2019: Lazada’s birthday livestream across six countries
Lazada was the first eCommerce platform in Southeast Asia to do a livestream of its first-ever Super Party concert during its 7th anniversary, which featured international and local artists and celebrities—drawing 12 million views both in-app and on television, region-wide. Lazada is not just an online shopping platform, but also your favorite entertainment provider!
2019: Launch of image and voice search features
Lazada launched image and voice search features on its app in 2019, providing users more ease in finding similar products on the platform, simply by taking a photo or using their voices.
2019: Brought grocery essentials through LazMart
LazMart is Lazada Philippines' online grocery delivery service specially designed for those who love quick grocery shopping 24/7. When ECQ was first announced on March 15, 2020, Lazada continued operations of LazMart to provide Filipinos with their essential needs. This option helped people receive what they needed while maintaining social distancing.
2019: First eCommerce credit card in the country

Through the UnionBank Lazada credit card, you can directly earn up to 6x Lazada wallet credits from your online spend at Lazada—the highest earning rate among other credit cards in the market.
