Want to learn more about Korea? Now you can do so and experience its culture at the newly-opened Experience Hall at the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in the Philippines' office in Taguig.

Offering an immersion in the Korean culture and daily life, the Experience Hall Tour Program lets visitors learn more about the Korea through different activities, classes, and exhibits.

In their Facebook post, the KCC said that the program will open starting Monday, July 25, from 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on weekdays. Whereas, on Saturdays, the program will start every 10:30 a.m.

The tour will not require interested visitors to make any reservations, nor is it restricted to any age group. It is also free for anyone who wishes to go.

If you’re curious about the parking space, the KCC said it is limited and will uphold the first come, first serve basis.

The cultural center also noted that the program will run indefinitely for now.

The tour is set to take place on the ground floor of the KCC's new office at 59 Bayani Rd., Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

What to expect

On March 24, the KCC unveiled its newly renovated building featuring six floors on its YouTube page.

The ground floor holds the Cultural Experience Area, where visitors can learn about traditional Korean clothing or the Hanbok down to the antique tableware with intricate designs.

On the same floor is the Mezzanine where the Library is located. It carries shelves upon shelves of books and an area to listen to K-pop albums.

On the second floor is the Language and Culture Classroom, where you could learn Hangul or the Korean Alphabet.

Located one floor above is the Cooking Class Area. Once energy is restored, there is a K-studio to burn off the calories through dancing and taekwondo.
