The Jollibee Group has announced that all its employees in the Philippines will be inoculated against COVID-19 at no cost to them.

Apart from its group of restaurants—namely Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Greenwich, Burger King, Red Ribbon, Panda Express, and PHO24—other departments like commissaries, distribution centers, support functions, and the Jollibee Group Foundation will also be covered by the company’s vaccination program.

“Our employees’ safety and well-being has always been paramount,” Jollibee Group chairman and founder Tony Tan Caktiong said in a statement, where the firm additionally revealed that it’s looking to obtain more doses for their dependents, extended family, and household members.

According to BusinessWorld, Jollibee closed 486 stores in 2020 but later established new ones, “and overall had 147 fewer open at the end of last year compared to the end of 2019.”

The Jollibee Group has over 5,800 branches in 33 markets globally.
