Sometimes, you just need an intimate and more exclusive escape.

If you’re in the mood for some seriously remote ruminating but don't want to fix up your visa details just yet, the country’s many islands have got you covered.

Whether you’re looking for a beachside getaway, a nature-filled trip, or even just a cozy place to plan your next steps, here are some top gorgeous islands in the Philippines you can rent or even buy for good.

Brother Island (P18,000+ / night)

Yup, even Airbnb offers budget private islands for rent now. This cozy little island in El Nido, Palawan has white sand beaches that can cater to up to 16 guests at a time. You can also avail of their hiking tours, local fishing, and beach massages for an additional charge.

You might want to book way in advance though, as it's a popular destination for many.

Ariara Island (Starting from P33,000+ / 7 nights)

Want to fulfill your Daddy Warbucks dream? The popular Ariara Island in Palawan doesn't just offer the most luxurious private rental experience, it also comes with an in-house chef and a team of 30 staff members catering to you during your vacation.

Short-term rentals go for a minimum of one week, while dedicated vacationers can also book a year-long stay on the island.

Archipelago Resorts (For sale: P75M)

Think exclusive village, but situated on a private island and you won't actually see your neighbors—that's Archipelago Resorts for you. You might think that the island is already a public resort, but in reality, the 0.63-acre secluded Palawan island is still looking for more homeowners to reside in its deluxe villas.

Each home goes for around P75M with a 50-year lease. The residences  are approximately 300 meters in size with its own private pool. Just like any exclusive village, Archipelago Resorts offers meals at boutique restaurants, drinks at the tropical bar, and treatments at their relaxing spa.

Ligpo Island (For sale: P235M)

We jumped with that crazy price jump too. Located right by the province of Anilao in Batangas, Ligpo Island is here to fulfill your Mamma Mia-esque dreams. Its cozy full-acre four-bedroom house is nestled right with the island's sea life and corals.

It's the ideal destination for completely zoning out and just being with nature. Don't worry, there's still phone signal though.

Medio Island (For sale: P315M)

If you wanna get away from the country's main province for a while, Medio Island is a 401,124 sqm (40.11-hectare) island that's near other island clusters that make up the "Islas Naranjos." Medio lies is at the very center of the cluster, hence its name meaning "medium."

This is an ideal spot for people that want to start their own beach resort business.

Dao Island (price upon inquiry)

Dubbed as one of the premier "jewel" destinations of Busuanga’s bays, Dao Island is a 47.9-hectare private island rich with greenery and sits right by Coron's many tourist destinations. Nearby attractions include the Calauit Island Wildlife Sanctuary, Black Island, Gutob Bay, and more.

Visitors can also pay an ocular visit to Dao via commercial access and private access (seaplane or helicopter). See more details here.
