Published Dec 12, 2022 2:30 pm

Stepping into Robinsons Magnolia is now like entering a foodie’s paradise. Dining at this Quezon City landmark is already an exciting mix but just recently, new restaurants and food outlets have opened—with more expected to make their grand debuts real soon. It’s a veritable dining revolution where nobody loses and everyone wins.

Whether you prefer Italian cuisine, Japanese ramen, juicy steaks, all-day breakfast favorites or New York deli-style sandwiches, Robinsons Magnolia has it all.

Progressive dining experience

While you can always head to your chosen restaurant and order off their menu, why not try something different like a progressive lunch or dinner? Some luxury hotels have been known to conduct these ‘moveable feasts’ for their valued customers. These usually begin with a few cocktails and canapés in one place, and hop from one food outlet to another where they can sample one or two dishes before moving on to the next venue. The journey is often capped with sumptuous dessert and barista-made coffee. Now, with a little bit of creativity, you can create your own progressive meal at Robinsons Magnolia.

A foodie’s adventure at Robinsons Magnolia starts with Texas Roadhouse right at the main entrance of the mall.

You can start with a visit to Italianni’s, Modern Shang, Fish & Co, Texas Roadhouse, or the soon-to-open Las Flores and Greyhound located near each other at the mall’s alfresco area overlooking the central garden. Or if you are looking for something to warm your hearts and bellies alike, local favorites Manam, Crisostomo and Mesa are ready to fill your craving for fine Filipino soups and dishes.

Manam is always a crowd favorite at the ground floor of Robinsons Magnolia.

Satisfy your dessert cravings from BLK 513, Kurimu Ice Cream, and Tokyo Milk Cheese.  And after a delicious meal or two, you can head over to Café Breton, Coffee Academics, Starbucks Reserve, CBTL or UCC Coffee for fancy desserts and distinctive caffeine fix. For healthy options, check out Zig Salad and T2 Tea.

Favorite chefs, world-class delis and more

If you’re in for more gastronomic adventures, chef-fronted food places await you inside the mall. Chef Sandy Daza’s popular empanadas of Casa Daza at the lower ground floor or freshly-made sandwiches of Deli by Chele by Chefs Chele Gonzalez and Carlos Villaflor at the ground level will surely whet anyone’s appetite.

Discover the freshest sandwiches at Deli by Chele.

For those looking for gourmet products and other imported delicacies, Santi’s Delicatessen has its first mall-based store ready to welcome you. You can also choose from a wide selection of deli meats, sausages, and cheeses at the newly-opened The Marketplace where you can also enjoy bread and pastries at the adjoining Eric Kayser bakery.

The Marketplace is the gourmet’s haven for delis, sausages, cheeses and a lot more.
Breakfast will never be the same

Chef Tony Boy Escalante brings his style of stick-to-your-ribs dishes with the upcoming arrival of Breakfast at Antonio’s only at Robinsons Magnolia, his first outpost of the Tagaytay favorite. Customers will soon be treated to an impeccable array of comforting breakfast favorites and European-style brunch fares in a casual yet enticing family dining atmosphere.

Tagaytay’s gem Breakfast at Antonio’s will soon open its first branch in Metro Manila at Robinsons Magnolia’s Central Garden.

“Like many, I love breakfast so it came as no surprise to a lot of people when I decided to open a restaurant that serves the very best of a morning menu. They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. At Breakfast at Antonio’s, we take this adage very seriously,” says Escalante in the restaurant’s website.

Leveled-up food hall choices

Public Eatery, the mall’s trendy neighborhood food hall is also ready to accept diners who want a more elevated dining experience. While you to still need to check out the menu and make the selection yourself at the food stall—be it a ramen, assorted grilled meats or Thai-style street food—food hall staff are readily available and more than willing to take your food trays to your table. They even offer and serve water in glass tumblers while you are seated and are quick to note if you need additional orders.

When you visit Public Eatery, you will be drawn to the delicious aroma of Chicken Pad Thai cooked in a sizzling hot wok by Thai outlet Samyan. The open kitchen setup also allows you to view the cook work his magic before he serves a smoky dish of flat noodles, redolent with spices and topped with chopped chicken and tofu.

Samyan at the Public Eatery is a guaranteed hit for Thai food lovers.

Other sumptuous options at the Public Eatery include Chef Happy Ongpauco Tiu’s take on roast pork and chicken, Japanese noodles at 10 by Tsukemen, Middle Eastern-style wraps at OK Bob, Pinoy dishes at New York Cubao, mixed drinks at The Bev Bar, and Hawaiian-style Poke bowls at Ono Poke, among others.

You can’t miss Mo’ Cookies that pops out conveniently at the ground floor as you make your way around the mall.

Before heading home, buy a few pasalubong like cookies from Mo’ Cookies, donuts from LA-fave Randy’s Donuts, the irresistible sweets from Royce Chocolates, bottled cocktails from Lolea, mini rice cakes from Bibingka MNL, or sashimi-grade fresh fish like salmon from The Golden Catch.

Randy’s Donuts at the atrium will take the donut experience to the next level.

The dining fun doesn’t stop here as there are a lot more exciting and must-go eat places waiting for you inside the mall. Remember to visit more often because at Robinsons Magnolia, the food revolution is surely taking off.
