Bangkok’s Greyhound Café opens fourth branch at Rockwell Center

Greyhound Cafe, a popular restaurant in Bangkok, opened its fourth store on the ground floor of Edades Tower, Rockwell Center.

This restaurant chain, which started as a clothing label in Bangkok in the ’80s, is present in eight countries, including the Philippines.

The event was attended by Ambassador Manuel Lopez, chairman of Lopez Holding Company; Rockwell Center Group president Nestor J. Padilla; EVP and chief revenue officer Valerie L. Greyhound Café is modern Bangkok on a plate. This stylish cafe is the answer to your Thai food cravings. Here, you can enjoy those no-fail classics like pad thai and tom yum goong. But if you’re feeling a little adventurous, you can opt for their Complicated Noodles and have fun making your own noodle wrap.

Greyhound Cafe at Rockwell Center boasts two exclusive menus: the Breakfast with a Twist, available from 7 to 10 a.m; and the Party At Night, which is available from 6 p.m. until midnight.

The Breakfast with a Twist menu includes Chicken in Brown Sauce with rice, Thai-styled BBQ Pork, Pan- Fried Eggs, “Morning Bangkok Rice Bowl,” Golden Fried Pork, Khao Tom Hang, Bangkok Street Fried Rice, and GHC Chicken Rice. The “Party At Night” menu features the DIY Crab Sandwich, Chubby Wontons, Moo Rong Hai, Sizzling Sour Pork, Chicken Chicharron, Spicy Beans Salad, Crispy Rice Crackers with Thai Dipping, Hot and Spicy Beef and Pork Balls, Charcoal Grilled Meatballs Sticks, Very Zap Wings and Thai Pandan Chicken.

“Greyhound Cafe offers fushion cuisine,’” says marketing manager Ace Azarraga. “It’s all about Thai food with a twist.”

“Greyhound Cafe is set to open at Robinsons Magnolia, Eastwood, SM Baguio, Ayala Triangle, and SM Sta. Rosa,” enthuses VR Del Rosario of Viva Foods, which brought Greyhound Cafe to Manila. Viva Foods also runs Botejyu, Ramen House, Wingzone, Papermoon, Yogorino and Pepi Cubano.
