Dreaming up your next trip?

While it’s best to avoid outside activities due to the coronavirus pandemic, you can definitely get creative in satisfying your longing for travel in the comfort of your own home.

One of the things that travel enthusiasts love—and hate—is waiting for their flight at the airport. If you, too, are missing that feeling at the moment, you might want to get your hands on Philippine Airlines’ new offering.

We’re not talking about plane tickets—we’re talking about its iconic arroz caldo, which is usually served in long-haul flights and Mabuhay Lounges. This well-loved dish now comes in a kit good for 2-3 persons. Priced at P690, it contains porridge, toppings and condiments, two limited edition reusable wooden bowls, two limited reusable wooden spoons, and DIY instructions.

“The PAL Arroz Caldo is iconic for a reason. It has become a must-try for Philippine Airlines’ flyers for its flavors,” PAL wrote in an Instagram post. “Every bowl is a delicate balance of simplicity and richness enhanced with the various toppings it comes with.”
