Grab a costume and a drink: Here are the Halloween parties happening in the Metro this long weekend

Whether you're the type to go all-out in full costume or more of a last-minute celebrator, Halloween is definitely the season for spooks, creativity, and a whole lot of fun.

With this season ushering in more public events amid the pandemic, a number of establishments have announced special Halloween gatherings and party for guests to enjoy the night.

Although Halloween parties are typically celebrated on the night of Nov. 30, this year's weekend gigs and parties are making the most of the long weekend. Up for a party? Check out the Halloween events happening in Metro Manila this coming Friday night (Oct. 29) to Monday (Oct. 31).

Club Euphoria's Y2K Party

Prep your low-waisted jeans and Olivia Rodrigo-inspired fits. Club Euphoria is bringing back the early 2000s through their Y2K Halloween party happening on Oct. 29 at Pura Vida, Kalayaan Avenue in Poblacion, Makati.

The night will host the club's resident and budding artists. A best costume competition will also be held for the night, with the winners earning as much as P5,000, P5,000 consumables for their table, and a free tattoo of their choice.

Dragula

Still not over Drag Race Philippines? We're with you.  A HalloQueen party is happening in Zentrium Shaw in Mandaluyong on Friday, Oct. 28 featuring the likes of Drag Race PH runner-ups, Marina Summers, Minty Fresh, Viñas Deluxe, Brigiding, and more.

General admission tickets go for P1,599 with 1 free drink and P2,499 for a meet and greet with the queens. Tickets can be reserved here.

Oka Tokat: Soupstar Halloween Night

If you want to rock out in costume, Soupstar Music is bringing on some of the best local acts in the country with Oka Tokat happening on Oct. 31 at 19East in Sucat. The door charge is priced at P800 + another P800 for the bar's consumables.

The Halloween Gig: Your Favorite Bands In Costume

Can't make it to 31's Monday gig? Don't worry, Final Round Promotions is having another Halloween gig this Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Saguijo Cafe and Bar in Makati.

Paradigm: Xylo's Halloween Weekend Celebration

If you're raring to go all-out (and not just with your costume), XYLO At the Palace nightclub is bringing on a three-day Halloween celebration through their event, Paradigm. 

The long weekend event will see the likes of their honed DJs serenading the three nights with nonstop beats. Doors will open from 10 PM onwards.

SOULebrasyon Undas Festival

Here's a different way to commemorate Undas. This October 31, celebrate your departed loved ones through a whole-day festival with your family at SOULebrasyon Undas Festival hosted by Angels Funeral Planner. Happening at the Amoranto Stadium in Quezon City, this Filipino Folklore and mythical characters-themed event will feature fun booths, photo booths, face painting, Trick or Treating, and music by the Brownbeat Allstars.

Not only that, attendees will witness a mass blessing and Butterfly Ceremony to remember those who passed during the pandemic. This will also count as their official entry to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Additionally, there will be a Cosplay Costume Contest to be hosted by Ate Gay and Boobay.

Disco Inferno: The NoKal Halloween Ball

Poblacion OG club NoKal is ushering in their new spot with a grand Halloween bash this Oct. 29.

Dubbed "a full audio sensory experience courtesy of the spookiest time of the year" Disco Inferno is bound to get you dancing, sweating, and all around having a good time. Doors open at 9 PM in their new location in Basement 1 of Makati Cinema Square.

Polillya: Get your freak on

Howl at the moon this long weekend at Polilya from October 28,29 and 30. The Poblacion favorite will be sharing sets by DJ Jimmy Nocon. Those who come in costume can get a free pandemic punch. A special prize is also up for grabs for the best dressed.

Cubao Hex

For those who want to celebrate a bit early, Cubao Hex is back on Thirsty Thursday, October 27, for their Halloween Party. Expect live bands and DJ sets, a Halloween costume party, Trick or Treat, Kendama game, Raffle and prizes, and more. Wear your best halloween costume to bag prizes or just gather your squad to party, dance and have some fun.
