What are your options when your fur baby dies? Here's where you can have them cremated or buried

While it pains to see them go, we must bid our beloved pets goodbye and let them run free in pet heaven.

For "pawrents," losing your best friend, companion, and protector is a different kind of hurt. From cheerful greetings by the door to long walks at the park, to random play dates and jumping in your bed at night, it’s the little things they do in their lifetime that we will always remember and forever cherish.

We will never be fully ready, but when the time comes, our furbabies, being part of the family, also deserve a proper farewell, too. According to Dr. Sarah Wooten, a veterinarian and member of the American Society of Veterinary Journalists, closure rituals are effective techniques for processing grief and can be extremely beneficial to someone who is grieving the loss of a pet.

“A closure ritual is more than talking or thinking about your pet—it is an intentional action that starts to heal the rift in your heart,” she said.

To assist you in giving your beloved pet a suitable send-off, here is a list of pet burial and cremation services in the Philippines:
