With Metro Manila easing into Alert Level 2 lockdown restrictions, the National Museum of the Philippines is now open to patrons of all ages.

Fully vaccinated adults and minors (accompanied by a fully vaccinated companion) are now allowed to visit the National Museum, open from Tuesdays to Sundays. To comply with health protocols, only 200 people are allowed inside the museum during the AM and PM visits.

Visitors also need to book a slots at least a day before their visit, as walk-ins are not allowed.

Planning to go on a museum trip soon? Here’s how.

  1. Go to nationalmuseum.gov.ph and click on “book a tour” in the upper right portion.
  2. From there, choose whether it will be a solo or group reservation. For group tours, a maximum of five persons is allowed.
  3. Choose between the two available sessions: morning (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) or in the afternoon (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM).
  4. You can also choose only one of the museum’s three buildings: Fine Arts, Anthropology, or Natural History.
  5. Once the form is completed, the National Museum will send a confirmation slip.

Meanwhile, health protocols will be in place on the premises, such as wearing of face masks and face shields, temperature scans, and physical distancing between patrons.
