Food roundup: M&M's donuts, peach crumble sundae, and other food releases this August

From M&M’s donuts to peach crumble sundae, here are some of the best in food this August.
Krispy Kreme x M&Ms
Krispy Kreme has something for those who can’t get enough of donuts and M&M’s. In celebration of its 86th birthday, the donut brand introduced a limited edition Krispy Kreme x M&Ms Collection. Available until Aug. 31, the new line features a classic Chocolate Iced topped with M&M’s, which is also being offered in minis as well as a White Chocolate Cake topped with M&M’s. The most thrilling one in this set is the Chocolate Candy Surprise as it showcases a shell donut filled with M&M’s milk chocolate, with an exterior that resembles a red M&M. Prices start at P70.
Patisserie Le Choux-Colat
Speaking of chocolate, Patisserie Le Choux-Colat has just launched a Praline Chocolate Collection (P1,680) crafted by award-winning chef Ely Salazar. The new offering has 16 premium handmade chocolate pieces with two of each mouthwatering flavor: chocolate rocher, coffee ganache, cashew praline, sea salt caramel ganache, almond dark chocolate, triple chocolate praline, honey nougat dark chocolate, and tablea dark chocolate in its signature Spruce box.
Domino’s
If you’re the type who wants to have a bit of everything, Domino’s is offering solo boxes—with some even complete with desserts. Starting at P249, each set includes a 7” classic pizza in different flavors; baked macaroni or potato wedges; and brownies, choco lava, or cinnabites with dip.
Jollibee
Love Jollibee’s peach mango pie? How does an ice cream version of it sound? The new Peach Crumble Sundae (P59) has sweet peach fruit chunks from the same crowd favorite, matched with its signature vanilla ice cream as well as butter cookie crumbles and caramel sauce. It will be available only for a limited time.
Fog City Creamery
Are you a breastfeeding mom? Fog City Creamery is here to help you overcome breastfeeding challenges with its new lactation ice cream line featuring three variants: Mega-Malunggay, Herbilogy Breastfeeding Milk Tea, and Herbilogy Choco Malt Oat Praline with Fenugreek. It’s aimed at enhancing milk production to help new moms “achieve their breastfeeding goals.”
Burger King
Who would have thought Burger King would have its own coffee line? At the new BK CAFÉ is a set of “expertly roasted and specially brewed coffee” starting at P49, with hot and cold offerings such as roast coffee, iced vanilla coffee, iced mocha coffee, and iced sweet black coffee. Each one is made with 100% Arabica beans that are directly sourced from Holland.
Popeyes
Popeyes has opened its 50th branch in Quezon City and it’s the biggest one they have in the Philippines so far. Located along Timog Avenue, the new spot has two floors as well as a drive-thru feature so you can enjoy more of its bestsellers, including the Louisiana Popeyes Fried Chicken, Chicken Tenders, Cajun Fries, and Biscuits, among others.
Sebastian’s Ice Cream
It's avocado season! If you love all things avocado, you'd be happy to know that Sebastian's has released seven ice cream flavors with your favorite fruit as their base. Available by the scoop at its flagship store at The Podium, the variants include Roasted Almond Avocado, Avocado Pastillas de Leche, Avocado Peanut Butter, Avocado Tres Leches, Avocado Cream Pie, Avocado Dark Chocolate Chip, and Avocado Banana Pudding.
