Traveler and food vlogger Mark Wiens (also known as Migrationology) visited the Queen City of the South and tried out its one-of-a-kind dishes.

The self-proclaimed "Full-Time Eater" is famous for his culinary travels, visiting different continents to fill his belly and learn more about each country's culture through food.

This time around, he recently visited Cebu and got a taste of the best Filipino dishes.

"Incredible food trip! Full videos are coming soon (in a couple of weeks, stay tuned)," he shared on social media.

"Can’t wait to share all the food with you!"

Mark enjoyed Cebu's delicacies and collaborated with Filipino food vloggers.

His first meal in the province was Sutukil, a specialty short for three Cebuana terms: sugba (grill), tuwa (stew), and kilaw (to cook raw meat with vinegar).

In a video from local food vlogger, Kalami Cebu, Mark can be seen thoroughly enjoying the dish by eating with his hands and being serenaded by a local guitarist.

He also spent time with couple food vloggers Bhen and Yuri. In some photos, Mark can be seen stirring a giant pot of meat. A full-spread boodle fight was prepared for Mark with Pinoy favorites such as liempo, mangoes, chicken, and a full group serving of rice.

And because the Philippines thrives with seafood, Mark also enjoyed some scrumptious Cebu oysters.

Mark also went on a full-day lechon hunt with Cebuana food vlogger, Stanly on Media.

"We visited 3 best Lechon places in Cebu province in just one day only," Stanly wrote. "We started filming from Gogoe's Lechon in Lilo-an, Talisay City and Carcar City - Oca Paraz Native Lechon from 5 am till 2 pm."

"Mark Wiens is a very down-to-earth person and very kind, he's approachable, easy to communicate with and so energetic," Stanly added.

In the video, Mark and Stanly can be seen clinking together their lechon strips before devouring the dish that Cebu is best known for.

This isn't the first time that Mark has enjoyed the Philippines. He visited the country back in 2017 to try out Manila street food, visiting famous metro locations such as Intramuros, Binondo, Manila Bay, and more.
