Halsey has dropped the trailer for the If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power film to arrive on IMAX which will accompany her upcoming album of the same name.

Consistent with the album cover exploring the Madonna-Whore dichotomy, the hour-long film experience is about "the lifelong social labyrinth of sexuality and birth," the text read.

The eerie trailer depicts motherhood in a dark and heavy storyline and visual. The 26-year-old singer earlier said her upcoming album is a concept album on the “joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth.”

Colin Tilley directed the film and who also helmed the music videos for Halsey’s Without Me and You Should Be Sad. The trailer is directed by Buddha Jones, who also produced alongside Byron Atienza.

Written by Halsey, tickets for If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power will go on sale on August 3. Halsey’s fourth album will be released on August 27, produced by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
