Mihoyo finally dropped the teaser for Kazuha, the new limited character coming next week in the popular gacha video game Genshin Impact.

The much awaited Ronin, Kaedahara Kazuha, is the first character to land on Genshin Impact’s gacha banners from the Japan-inspired country in Teyvat called Inazuma.

Genshin Impact’s official character teaser titled “Kaedehara Kazuha: Moonlit Breeze” revealed a short clip of Kazuha with Crux Fleet’s captain Beidou, the electro-vision wielder pirate from Liyue, as they converse under the moonlight while their ship is anchored in the middle of the sea. Kazuha then recalls his battles with vision hunters who are in the hunt for vision holders after the Vision Hunt Decree was placed in Inazuma.

Kazuha, the 5-star rare character who is a sword wielding anemo vision holder, is set to hit Genshin Impact’s limited character banner on June 29 at around 6:00 p.m. in the Philippines.

Bringing life into his voice will be popular Japanese voice actor, Shimazaki Nobunaga, known for his roles in Free! Iwatobi Swim Club as Haruka Nanase, Ryou Sakurai in Kuroko’s Basketball, and Mahito from Jujutsu Kaisen among others. For his English localization, Kazuha is set to be voiced by Mark Whitten, known for his roles as Kyojuro Rengoku in Demon Slayer and Seteth from the Nintendo Switch game, Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Genshin Impact Japanese’s Twitter account also revealed two short clips of Kazuha’s elemental skill and elemental burst abilities using his anemo vision.

Aside from a new character to look forward to, Genshin Impact players will also experience a new event this coming Friday. “Legend of the Vagabond Sword” will begin on June 25 and will end on July 8.

Travelers can expect a new Domain where they will challenge powerful bosses in order to attain scores, which in return will reward players with an event-exclusive name card, exp materials, and most importantly, Primogems.
