‘Sweet Girl,’ ‘Downton Abbey,’ ‘A Faraway Land’ and more new shows on Netflix this weekend

What’s new on Netflix this week? The streamer has got a good mix of action, drama, romance, and kid-friendly shows to keep everyone safe indoors. 

First up is revenge thriller Sweet Girl, featuring Aquaman and Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa as a devastated father out for justice against a giant pharmaceutical company.

Grab a cup of tea and get ready to swoon all over again because all six seasons of Downton Abbey, the hit period drama is on Netflix once again. Downton Abbey was one of the first major binge-worthy shows to land on Netflix in the streamer’s early years.

On the local front, we have A Faraway Land, a 2020 drama film directed by Veronica B. Velasco and starring Paolo Contis and Yen Santos in pivotal roles set in the visually stunning Faroe Islands.

Sweet Girl
