Can you believe it’s been six years since TWICE debuted with the zombie-fied track Like Ooh-Ahh?

It was in 2015 when K-pop girl group TWICE made a splash in the industry with their fresh and spooky debut song Like Ooh-Ahh. Since then, they made their mark as one of the biggest groups of all time. With their beautiful faces and stream-worthy tracks, what’s not to love about this girl group?

As TWICE recently celebrated its sixth debut anniversary, it only seems fitting to explore the girl group’s wide discography. They’re more than just a “cutesy” girl group after all since their music offers a wide range of bops of various genres.

Here are nine b-side songs to satisfy your inner TWICE fanboy or fangirl mood. Take this as a sign to stan this girl group—you won’t regret it.

1. Touchdown

Touchdown is the ultimate go-to track if you want to start your day on an energetic high. With their powerful vocals and peppy instrumental outro, it’s the type of song that will get you up and dance—and channel your inner cheerleader. Plus, this track shows off Nayeon, Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and Chaeyoung’s ability to belt high notes.

2. Ice Cream

This slow song is love at first listen since it’s a break from the girl group’s energetic and bright tracks. With the lyrics “More than anything else you’ve seen, I wanna show you my heart. I hope you know that I don’t expect anything else,” you know it’s the best way to confess. If you’re pining over someone, this track will be your ultimate companion.

3. Up No More

Don’t be fooled by the track’s cheerful and retro-inspired beat. It’s actually a painful and relatable ode to insomnia. With lyrics by leader Jihyo, it feels like a warm cuddle if you’re struggling to fall asleep.

4. First Time

Strawberry kisses taste so good to me.” Seriously, is leader Jihyo a genius lyricist or what? Because First Time, which she also wrote, is a glimpse of what it feels to be in a loving relationship. It gives you butterflies, makes you feel fuzzy, and shows the right amount of sex appeal without making it too sexual.

5. Believer

Move over, Ice Cream. Believer is the ultimate bop if you’re a classy lady who’s secretly pining over someone. This retro-inspired song is addictive to the ears, plus it’s the perfect sing-out loud track when you’re going on a long drive.

6. Oxygen

There’s something about Oxygen that feels so well-made. Perhaps, it’s the impressive production, TWICE’s beautiful vocals, or the marriage of the girl group’s past and present concepts in one track. This song feels like a departure from the group’s cutesy image as they fully embrace their inner dangerous woman.

7. 21:29

If there’s a track by TWICE that will make you cry, 21:29 is the one. The track is meant to be the girl group’s gift as they express their love for their fans. Even if you’re miles away from South Korea, listening to this song feels like you’re receiving a hug from Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu themselves.

8. Hell in Heaven

We only have one complaint about Hell in Heaven—it’s too short. This track is hauntingly alluring, which is perfectly shown by the vocals of the members. This song is meant to show that while falling in love feels like heaven, it also feels like a one-way ticket to hell.

9. Cry For Me

Can you believe Cry For Me was "originally a song that might have never been released to the world?" This track is the ultimate sad-girl anthem for TWICE, as the lyrics hope for someone to "die for me" after a painful breakup. The song also came as a shock to fans since it was a surprise performance by the group in MAMA 2020.
