‘Shang-Chi’ and ‘Malignant’ now in cinemas; new shows to stream this Thanksgiving weekend

Looking for something new to watch this weekend?

Two new international blockbuster films have dropped in Philippine cinemas this week, including Marvel's Asian superhero film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Malignant, a supernatural horror movie from The Conjuring director.

In case you're ready to watch a movie on the big screen, we've rounded up the list of the moviehouses where the two films are currently being screened.

The QCinema has also kicked off this week, with theatrical screenings exclusively at Gateway Cineplex 10 running from Nov. 26 to Dec. 5, 2021. Tickets are only P150 per screening for both KTX and Gateway Cineplex.

But for those who prefer to enjoy their shows at home, there's still plenty of new content on streaming sites this week. Here’s our latest roundup of the latest movies showing in cinemas  and some top picks from streaming sites that dropped this week of Nov, 22. to 28, 2021.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Malignant

Synopsis: Paralyzed by fear from shocking visions, a woman's torment worsens as she discovers her waking dreams are terrifying realities. (In cinemas Nov. 24)
