Get ready to relive the classic 1984 supernatural comedy film Ghostbusters with its sequel Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which is set to haunt your screens on AXN Asia this August.

Released in 2021, the latest film in the Ghostbusters franchise will debut on Sunday, Aug. 21 at 9:45 pm on the AXN Asia channel.

It is available on Cignal at channel 121, SKYcable HD at channel 247, SKYcable SD at channle 49, GSAT at channel 57, and various other provincial cable operators nationwide.

The film serves as the continuation of the original Ghostbusters in 1984 and its sequel Ghostbusters II in 1989. Set 32 years after the last film, Ghostbusters: Afterlife follows a single mother of two children who had inherited a farm in Oklahoma from her estranged father.

What she didn't know is that her father is actually a member of the original Ghostbusters. A growing supernatural threat soon befalls on their small town, and a new generation of young unexpecting heroes must now work together to battle the malignant entity before it perishes their world.

The film is helmed by Jason Reitman and stars a popular and familiar lead cast featuring Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, McKenna Grace, and Finn Wolfhard. The original Ghostbuster cast, Billy Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver, also make a long-awaited return.
