The highly anticipated music video of Coldplay and BTS’ collaborative track My Universe is finally out!

Helmed by director Dave Meyers, the intergalactic-themed music video is set in a distant galaxy called The Spheres where music is forbidden.

Defying the ban are BTS, Coldplay and a supergroup of aliens called Supernova 7, who play My Universe with the help of DJ Lafrique via hologram.

Members of BTS and Coldplay play together via hologram.

The groups perform together in a dystopian scene and meet in an almost parallel universe.

BTS, Coldplay and Supernova7 are able to play together with the help of DJ Lafrique, who uses Holoband.

The music video dropped almost a week after the release of the English and Korean language single, which was co-written by the members of BTS and Coldplay.

My Universe is the second single from Coldplay’s ninth studio album “Music of the Spheres.”

Prior to the music video release, two renditions of the song were released—an acoustic version and the Supernova 7 mix.

Coldplay and BTS also recently released a documentary titled Inside My Universe, which follows the recording of the single My Universe in BTS’ Seoul studio amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
