It’s official, Coldplay and BTS are teaming up for a song!

British rock band Coldplay dropped on Monday, Sept. 13, the teaser image and release date for their upcoming single My Universe that features K-pop superstars BTS. The track will be released on Sept. 24.

In a report from Soompi, the joint single will also be available as a limited-edition two-track CD single. The inside cover will include a copy of handwritten lyrics written by the musical acts themselves.

My Universe is composed by Coldplay and BTS and is produced by Swedish record producer Max Martin. It also includes lyrics in both English and Korean.

Hours after the teaser release, BTS and Coldplay released a preview of their upcoming collaboration. The video clips showed the K-pop group recording with the band’s frontman Chris Martin.

In February 2021, BTS performed a cover of Coldplay’s Fix You for MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS

Coldplay is composed of frontman Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion, and creative director Phil Harvey. The rock band was formed in London in 1996.

BTS is a seven-member K-pop boy group that debuted in 2013. The septet—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook—rose to international fame in 2016 with the single Fire
