‘No Time to Die,’ ‘The Witcher’ and more new shows to watch this weekend

Looking for the latest movies in cinemas and online releases on streaming sites like Netflix and HBO GO in the Philippines?

A couple of new feel-good holiday movies dropped on Netflix, while Daniel Craig is back in his final James Bond film, No Time to Die, now showing in theaters. Also, WItchmas is finally here with the second season of The Witcher starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.

No Time to Die

Synopsis: James Bond is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica after leaving active service. However, his peace is short-lived as his old CIA friend, Felix Leiter, shows up and asks for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond on the trail of a mysterious villain who's armed with a dangerous new technology.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City

Synopsis: Welcome to Raccoon City, once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corp. The company's exodus left the city a wasteland, a dying town with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, a group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night.

Gensan Punch

Station Eleven

Synopsis: This science fiction miniseries is a post-apocalyptic saga based on the 2014 bestselling novel of the same name by Canadian novelist Emily St. John Mandel. Station Eleven tells the stories of survivors of a devastating flu pandemic as they attempt to rebuild their lives after losing everything and re-imagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost.

Her Rules, Her No’s (Bawal Lumabas)
