WATCH: Celebrity commercials from the 2022 Super Bowl

By Kara Santos Published Feb 15, 2022 5:33 pm

Super Bowl LVI has come and gone, leaving behind a slew of new trailers for highly anticipated films like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Jurassic World Dominion, NOPE, and series like Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power and Marvel’s Moon Night.

Aside from the movie trailers and epic half-time show which featured hip-hop legends this year, the 2022 sporting event also brought a bunch of big budget commercials with serious celebrity power.

This year’s ads included expensive spots from tech giants and car companies, who used Hollywood stars and the America’s biggest sporting event to showcase their products. A few ads also paid homage to classic movies like Austin Powers and The Cable Guy and shows like The Sopranos.

Watch some of the most star-studded commercials and celebrity cameos from the ads that aired during Sunday's big game.

Fellow Austin Powers cast members Rob Lowe, Mindy Sterling and Seth Green all appear in the ad as well for a dose of nostalgia.

FTX

“Don't Miss Out” starring Larry David

Curb Your Enthusiasm's Larry David stars in a time bending commercial.
