From meme to reality: Microsoft unveils Xbox Series X Mini Fridge

When Microsoft first unveiled the Xbox Series X in 2019, people turned it into a meme saying how the console’s boxy shape looked a lot like a refrigerator. Now, the tech giant makes the meme a reality, closing out its E3 2021 showcase with the announcement of the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge.

Yup, an actual Xbox Series X Mini Fridge will be released and available this holiday season. Donned in an exterior looking similar to the Xbox Series X, the Mini Fridge comes complete with the Xbox logo and the green interior like the console. Microsoft even says that the fridge boasts the “Xbox Velocity Cooling Architecture,” a play on the console’s “Velocity Architecture.”

In November, the company also actually gave away real, full-sized Series X-shaped fridges, which went to celebrities like Snoop Dogg.
