Mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has partnered with Philippine-based gaming video studio Eplayment Entertainment for an all-female e-Sports league running from August 16 to September 17, 2020 in support of COVID-19 initiatives.

Dubbed “Liga Adarna: Laban Para Sa Korona,” the all-female tourney is in line with Smart’s “Connected Filipina” advocacy, aiming to put the spotlight on women embracing digital technology in various fields and hopefully inspire more Filipinas to do the same.

The charity gaming tournament started on Sunday, August 16 and will run up to September 17, with an extended registration period until August 18.

The league will be featuring three gaming titles available for PC and mobile phones – Valorant, Dota 2, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). The total cash prize is P140,000, P20,000 for both Valorant and Dota 2, and P100,000 for MLBB.

Interested gamers need to register online through Mogul, an e-Sports tournament and matchmaking platform and the league’s official platform partner, and submit a team logo and profile. Mogul accounts can be made either on Facebook or Razer ID. Razer will also be the official peripherals partner for the event. All games will be live-streamed on Liga Adarna’s official Facebook page.
