Fans of Ariana Grande and The Weeknd can save their tears for another day, as the duo will soon release new music together.

The frequent collaborators, known for Save Your Tears (Remix) and Love Me Harder, have teased on social media what appears to be a remix of the 2016 hit Die For You from The Weeknd's Starboy album.

"Wrote and recorded a verse for my friend after a 14-hour day on set," Grande, who is filming the Wicked film adaptation as Glinda, captioned a clip. "This certain exception had to be made..."

In the video, she is seen singing and cutting vocal takes for the said track.

“You know what I’m thinkin’, see it in your eyes / You hate that you want me, hate it when you cry,” Grande is heard singing onscreen.

Top comments on her TikTok video included "Ariana x The Weeknd again???" and "We are getting a 'Die For You' Ariana remix, I'm so excited."

In her Instagram repost, Ariana included a star and moon emoji, which The Weeknd commented star and moon emojis on.

He reposted the video on his own account and captioned it with a smiling face with tear emoji. Ariana commented star and moon emojis on it as well.

Love Me Harder was The Weeknd's first top-ten entry in the United States when the song peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. This collaboration was pushed by Republic Records, the mutual label between the two artists.

Moreover, the original solo version of Save Your Tears from The Weeknd's After Hours album peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. Its remix with Grande, however, brought it to the very top at number one.
