Miss World Philippines will not push through on Sept. 19
The Miss World Philippines 2021 coronation night is postponed until further notice, the organization announced on Facebook.
Initially, the final event is set to happen on Sunday, Sept. 19. However, due to the coronavirus, it won't push through on the said date.
"The MWP Organization has yet to confirm the final coronation night date and venue, pending government and IATF mandate regarding the current Covid-19 scenario," it said.
"Please wait for further announcements coming from the organization itself," the caption added.
The coronation night has been postponed several times due to the global pandemic restrictions. It was first scheduled for July 11, then moved to July 25, and then to Aug. 8, and Sept. 19.
The 2021 edition of the pageant will crown seven queens: Miss World Philippines, Miss Eco Philippines, Mis Eco Teen Philippines, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, Miss Multinational, Miss Philippines Tourism, and Miss Environment International.
