It's been more than a year since moviehouses have been closed in the metro because of the pandemic. While staying in and watching movies at home has become part of our daily routine, we do miss watching movies in cinemas and the whole moviegoing experience.

Cinema ‘76 Cafe is about to offer a taste of the movies with their al fresco, movie-themed coffee shop right in Anonas, Quezon City.

TBA Studios is giving movie lovers a new spot to visit while in quarantine with the opening of Cinema ‘76 Cafe.

Opening to the public on June 11 (Friday) this unique, al fresco restaurant is located at the third floor of Anonas LRT City Center in Quezon City.

The cafe sits just outside the micro-cinema it is named after, offering a cozy spot for coffee lovers and movie enthusiasts to  enjoy the outdoor ambiance and safe lounging, along with a selection of food and beverages.

Cinema '76 Film Society is a pioneering micro-cinema known for bringing the latest Filipino and foreign films to its movie audience.

According to Cinema Bravo, which posted a first look at the cafe on their Facebook page, some visual references include posters from TBA Studios’ well-loved films and a very comfortable "bench seating" reminiscent of the micro-cinema's signature couch seats.

While you wait for cinemas to reopen, you can still enjoy coffee and snacks safely here.

The cafe's menu includes hot and iced coffee beverages, bottled Coffee Matcha, Salted Caramel Latte, and more. For pastries and desserts, the cafe offers Mango Cake, cookies, bluberry cheesecake, carrot cake and more. They even have a Popcorn Frappe!
