Rock legend Sting to have two shows in Manila in 2023

Rock n Roll Hall of Famer Sting is coming to Manila!

The rock legend's website shared the announcement, confirming that Sting will be taking his My Songs tour to the Theatre at Solaire on March 17 and 18, 2023.

The British singer-songwriter will also be bringing special guest Joe Sumner to his Manila shows.

Tickets will go on sale on Dec. 9, 12:01 p.m. Members of the Sting.com site will be able to get the tickets early on presale on Dec. 7.

Sting last performed in the country in 2012 for his Back to Bass world tour. He was set for an October 2019 return, but the concert was canceled due to scheduling conflicts.

The rocker, whose real name is Gordon Matthew Sumner, rose to fame as part of the band The Police from 1977 to 1986. As a solo musician and as part of the band, he won 17 Grammy Awards, including song of the year for Every Breath You Take. In November of last year, Sting released his 15th studio album titled The Bridge.
