‘The Batman’ is now on HBO GO, plus more new shows to watch this weekend

Netflix has added a number of new titles including the Japanese comedy-drama He's Expecting based on a manga that tells the story of a man's experience being pregnant, and the romantic LGBTQ drama Heartstopper.

Here’s a round up new movies and series that dropped on locally available streaming sites from April 18 to 24, 2022.

The Batman 

Synopsis: When a sadistic serial killer begins murdering key political figures in Gotham, Batman is forced to investigate the city's hidden corruption and unmask the culprit.

The Flight Attendant (Season 2)

Synopsis: Reckless alcoholic flight attendant Cassie Bowden wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man next to her—and no idea what happened or who the killer could be.

Synopsis: When a successful ad executive who's got it all figured out becomes pregnant, he's forced to confront social inequities he'd never considered before.

Heartstopper

Synopsis: Teens Charlie and Nick discover their unlikely friendship might be something more as they navigate school and young love in this coming-of-age series. 

Pacific Rim: The Black (Season 2)

Russian Doll (Season 2)

Selling Sunset (Season 5)

Synopsis: The elite real estate brokers at The Oppenheim Group sell the luxe life to affluent buyers in LA. The drama ramps up when a new agent joins the team.

In honor of the birth month of National Artist for Film Lino Brocka, the films Insiang and Bayan Ko: Kapit sa Patalim will stream on the CCP Vimeo channel for free from April 22-29, 2022. 

Insiang (1976)

Synopsis: After a teenager is raped by her mother's boyfriend, she sets out to exact revenge on anyone who has hurt her.
