Want to feel like the "King of the World" right at home? How about building your very own scale model of the Titanic, currently LEGO's largest model set ever created.

Toy company LEGO has outdone themselves once again by releasing a buildable Titanic model that contains a total of 9,090 pieces, and measures over 54 inches, or just a little over 4.5 feet long.

According to LEGO, the Titanic is currently the largest set they've created, at least as of 2021. It's also the longest LEGO set ever released.

The massive LEGO set, which comes complete with moving parts that will allow people to raise and lower the anchor along with turning the propellers to spin the engines, is recommended for those aged 18 and up.

The legendary ship can be divided into three sections to showcase the ship’s detailed interiors in cross-section, providing a look at the grand staircase, boiler room, smoking lounge, and other locations movie fans may recognize from the 1997 film, Titanic.

Features like the ship's bridge, promenade deck, and swimming pool have also been faithfully recreated in brick form. Once the ship is built, it can be displayed with an included stand and name plate. Just make sure you have a lot of shelf space to display this brick ship in full glory.

"Build a stunning LEGO model version of the world's most famous ocean liner with this LEGO Titanic 10294 model set. With over 9,000 pieces, this set offers a building challenge to savor," the company says of the new set.

"Faithfully recreate the historical details of the Titanic in this 1:200 scale ship model. Authentic details include over 300 portholes, the iconic bridge, lifeboats, benches, cargo crane, and more."

The tragic story of the passenger liner's sinking was brought to life on the big screen in James Cameron's 1997 film Titanic. The epic romance and disaster film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet remains one of the highest-grossing movies of all time.

Prior to the release of the Titanic model, The 9,036-piece Roman Colosseum set held the title for largest Lego set ever, but Titanic beats it by just 54 pieces.

LEGO also has a World Map that includes 11,695 pieces, which technilcally has more pieces than the Titanic, but as part of the Art collection, it isn’t made with the classic blocks and instead used push pin-like pieces to form mosaic wall art.

LEGO's Titanic set is available for pre-order, and is listed at $629.99 on the company's official web store. It will be officially released on Nov. 1, 2021. For more details on this set, check out LEGO.com.
