In case you missed it, the official trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League just dropped during Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14).

Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for the film, including a version which features a director’s message from Snyder shared by HBO Asia.

The feature film will debut in the U.S. on HBO Max on March 18 and will premiere at the same time exclusively on HBO GO in Asia in the Philippines.

The film takes place after the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) where Batman and Wonder Woman form a superhero team including Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg as the group tries to protect the world from Steppenwolf.

In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

Check out the first official trailer below.

Justice League first debuted in November 2017 in theaters. Snyder was the original director but had to step away from the project during post-production for personal reasons, leaving Joss Whedon to step in and complete the film.

In addition to providing Snyder’s original vision for the film, new content will also be added, most notably Jared Leto joining the cast, reprising his role of Joker, the supervillain he played previously in Suicide Squad.

Watch Zack Snyder's Justice League on March 18, 2021 exclusively on HBO Max in the U.S. and HBO GO in Asia.
