Calling all Swifties!

Stanford University is now offering an entire course on Taylor Swift’s hit All Too Well (Ten Minute Version), which includes an “in-depth analysis” of the much-loved song’s lyrics.

According to a report by PEOPLE, the subject dubbed All Too Well (Ten Week Version) is part of the prestigious school’s “ITALIC 99” courses that put forward an introduction to topics headed by the program’s alumni.

“With each quarter offering unique courses, these student-led classes are focused on hands-on learning and have included topics such as travel sketching, watercolor, music composition, improv acting, animation, and digital art, among many others,” as stated on its official website

The Grammy Award-winning singer and her music have been the subject of courses in different schools abroad. In February 2022, the New York University Clive Davis Institute announced a three-month class that discussed her life and legacy as well as youth and prodigies through the musician’s lens. It also covered “politics of race in contemporary popular music.”

There’s another undergraduate course titled The Taylor Swift Songbook being offered at the University of Texas in Austin on top of Taylor Swift’s Literary Legacy course at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada.

Nine years after the release of All Too Well as part of her Red album, Taylor dropped a 10-minute version of the hit song in 2021.
