Pink hearts, horrible goose to join new set of emojis for iOS and Android
To mark World Emoji Day on July 17, Emojipedia has revealed a new set of emojis for iOS and Android users up for approval to be released in September this year.
The list of final draft emojis includes the much-anticipated plain pink heart, a shaking face, two pushing hands representing a high five, and the horrible goose—a reference to the popular video game Untitled Goose Game which has topped gaming charts.

In a blog post released on Wednesday, July 13, Emojipedia said the sample emojis are still subject to change before the final approval of their release.
“While some might not make the cut, most presented for approval are historically confirmed,” the statement read.
Anticipating the release of these emojis? Emojipedia also released a possible timeline of when these new emojis will roll out.
The final version of Emoji 15.0 is set to be released by September, supported on Google and Android platforms from October to December, and included in Apple, Samsung, Twitter, and Facebook from January to October next year.
iOS and Android users alike are rejoicing for the released draft emojis, with many netizens excited for the pink heart one. In the emoji world, colored hearts carry their own specific meaning, with light pink hearts apparently representing "sincere, unromantic love" that is not as serious as the red heart emoji.
A news report which describes the significance behind the colors says: "This is best reserved for showing love to friends and family, perhaps even to show your growing feelings in the early stages of a new relationship."
