WATCH: The ‘Hawkeye’ trailer is giving us serious holiday feels
Christmas is definitely in the air at the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Marvel Studios has released the trailer for Hawkeye starring Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld on Disney Plus, and it looks like it’s going to be TV’s must watch show this holiday season.
Along with the trailer, Marvel Studios released a new teaser poster for the show, with the tagline: "This holiday season, the best gifts come with a bow" adorning the festive Christmas-themed scene.

The trailer shows former Clint Barton/Hawkeye played by Jeremy Renner with a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. The series will see the former Avenger passing down the bow and arrow to fellow Marvel Comics character Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld.
Set during the Christmas season in post-blip New York City, Clint investigates someone posing as his deadly Ronin persona from Avengers: Endgame, only to discover it’s Kate Bishop, a 22-year old archer with dreams of becoming a super hero. The two team up to take down criminals as Hawkeye promises his family he’ll be back home for Christmas.
The Hawkeye series also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez.
Hawkeye is the fourth and latest live-action Marvel Studios show on Disney’s streaming service.
WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, was the first to premiere this year, followed by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. Loki starring Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino debuted in June.
