LOOK: A cute pre-colonial Catriona Gray paper doll in time for her birthday

Ms. Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has been rendered in a paper doll format in time for her 27th birthday today, Jan. 6.

The paper doll copy was made by the National Quincentennial Committee, which is tasked to oversee the commemoration of the fifth centennial of the Battle of Mactan, where LapuLapu and his warriors defeated the forces of Magellan.

“The committee is in debt to Catriona for the support she has extended and will extend in the country's commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Victory at Mactan,” the Committee said in a social media post.

It could be recalled that Catriona’s national costume during the Miss Universe 2018 pageant had a pre-colonial design that was inspired by the 16th century tattooed warriors of Visayas.
