From Ang Huling El Bimbo to Ligaya, there is no shortage of iconic music from Eraserheads. And while we have these hits that everyone knows the words to, there are songs from the band that fly under the radar—often overlooked by more famous tracks.

Since breaking up in 2002, the four-piece band has reunited a few times, but it's been a while since they last played as a band. To fans' excitement, Eraserheads is getting back together for a concert this Dec. 22. And to celebrate their upcoming reunion, let's flip through all seven of their albums and shine the spotlight on their most underrated tunes.

Milk and Money (Sticker Happy)

A smooth groove with dark lyrics about yearning to be in a better place, Milk and Money is a song from Eheads' 1997 studio album Sticker Happy. ICYDK, there's a reggae version of this track that was included in the band's demo album Pop U!

68 Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave. (Natin99)

Another dark entry in this list is 68 Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave., written by Buendia about his childhood home in Pasig City. This experimental tune oozes nostalgia and will take you back to your younger years as soon as you hit play.

The song pictures an everyday street, with bikes, floods, and jeeps passing by. Things take a darker turn as it describes a crime scene that the frontman could have witnessed.

Lightyears (Fruitcake)

The only song from their Fruitcake album that isn't a Christmas tune, Lightyears is an idyllic, dreamy track about longing for someone out of your reach. The whole 1996 album is underrated, with songs like Gatekeeper and Fruitfairy that you should definitely listen to.

Shirley (ultraelectromagneticpop!)

Who doesn't want a fun song about new love? Shirley is an underrated classic rock track, written by Buendia and drummer Raimund Marasigan, about a girl's fickle new relationship. It makes fun references to young love like holding hands in UP Diliman's CASAA canteen and even fighting in the mall that listeners can find relatable.

ICYDK, Shirley is part of the jukebox musical Ang Huling El Bimbo, sung by Tiya Dely.

Butterscotch (Circus)

While the Eheads' Circus album is mainly known for tracks like Alapaap, Magasin, With A Smile, and Minsan, there are other gems that aren't as widely known. Take Butterscotch, a catchy, classic rock song showing off the band's excellent storytelling capabilities.

Fill Her (Cutterpillow)

A song that gives off country/folk vibes, Fill Her is a fun song to jam with your friends. Although it's a shorter number at just 2:26 minutes (a literal filler), it's an underrated song from the Cutterpillow album that complements and builds up on the next track on the album, Ang Huling El Bimbo.

Playground (Carbon Stereoxide)

Playground was released ahead of its time—it sounds like it was from the 2010s era. This 2001 dance bop gives off Daft Punk vibes and doesn't sound like other rock songs that we're used to hearing from Eheads.
