For those eagerly awaiting the release of Wonder Woman 1984, you’re in luck.

Warner Bros. has released the film, or at least the first few minutes of it, online and it gives the world an early glimpse of the young Diana and the magical land where she grew up.

The three-minute opening sequence for Wonder Woman 1984 features the young Diana (played by Lilly Aspell) racing through green fields as she makes her way to a stadium. Here, she stumbles upon what seems like an Amazonian version of the Olympic games.

A number of warrior women perform athletic feats to the delight of the crowd. As Diana steps to the plate, General Antiope, Diana's aunt, gives her a few words of advice while Queen Hippolyta, her mother, looks on proudly from the stands.

The footage then transitions into the 1980s, where an adult Diana fights as Wonder Woman. It then reverts back to a young Diana running an obstacle course in Themyscira. Towards the end of the clip, adult Diana meets Barbara Ann Minerva who will end up becoming the supervillain Cheetah.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set in 1984 at the height of the Cold War. This time, Diana and love interest Steve Trevor team up and face off against a new set of villains, including the wealthy telepath Maxwell Lord IV and the cunning Cheetah.

The film is directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince / Wonder Woman) alongside Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Kristen Wiig (Barbara Ann Minerva / Cheetah), Pedro Pascal (Maxwell Lord), Robin Wright (Antiope) and Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta) in supporting roles.

Wonder Woman 1984 arrives in theaters and streams on HBO Max starting Dec. 25.
