Do you think you've got what it takes to be an action star? A new reality show is putting a James Bond spin on The Amazing Race concept.

Amazon Prime Video has opened a casting call for 007’s Road to a Million, which will feature a variety of two-person teams competing in James Bond-like events events for £1 million (about P67.9 million).

Contestants will be subjected to a series of intelligence and endurance tests, not unlike those in The Amazing Race, while traveling around some of the most famous locations from Bond’s adventures around the world.

As reported by Variety, the show has been in development at Amazon for nearly four years and will come from Britain’s 72 Films (All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur).

James Bond franchise producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, along with MGM Television, are attached to the show.

The eight-part series is completely separate from the recent MGM deal, where Amazon acquired the James Bond parent company for $8.45 billion last year.

007’s Road to a Million unscripted adventure series is currently accepting casting applications and will go into full production later this year.

"We’re looking for teams of two to take on this exciting mission, jet setting across the globe, facing challenges and using general knowledge for your chance to win the cash!," according to 72 Film's audition page.

No release date has been announced for the show on Prime Video, which will launch in more than 240 countries and territories.

The Oscars 2022 recently paid tribute to the James Bond franchise, which is celebrating its 60th year.

There have been an impressive slate of actors who played the role including Sean Connery who first embodied Bond on screen and Roger Moore, who played the character in seven feature films between 1973 and 1985. George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and most recently Daniel Craig have also stepped into 007's signature tuxedo.
