Will Smith “opens up fully” as he tells his story in his memoir ‘Will’ to be released on November 9, the actor-rapper announced Sunday.

The memoir will follow the young and “fearful” Smith from West Philadelphia to his journey to the music scene and in Hollywood.

More than knowing his “outer success,” the memoir is a “story of how one person mastered his own emotions, written in a way that can help everyone else do the same,” wrote Penguin Press, the publisher of the book.

Smith said over an Instagram video that the book, “a labor of love,” took two years to complete, co-written by Mark Manson, the author of The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck.

He shared an Instagram video of how the colorful book cover came about. The cover was made by visual artist Brandan Odums, with five layers representing different stages of Smith’s life.

The memoir will also be available in audiobook from Penguin Random House Audio, narrated by Smith.

The four-time Grammy winner and two-time Academy Awards nominee thanked his fans who pre-ordered the book which currently tops Amazon’s best sellers in actor and entertainer biographies.
