Iconic rock band Eraserheads is officially returning to the stage with their comeback show, Huling El Bimbo.

The official Huling El Bimbo social media channels confirmed the news after rumors swirled of a reunion when members Ely Buendia, Marcus Adoro, Rayms Marasigan, and Buddy Zabala shared an ominous bright yellow 'E' on their social media pages this past week.

"Ilang awit pa ba ang aawitin, o giliw ko?," they wrote, a reference to the lyrics from the band's hit song Ligaya. All four members have also shared the concert poster on their social media pages.

The concert will be held on Dec. 22, 2022, at the SMDC Festival Grounds. Tickets will go on sale on Oct. 5 via hulingelbimbo2022.ph, though organizers noted that only 50,000 tickets will be sold.

On Oct. 3, the concert's official social media pages announced that ticket prices are as follows: Bronze-P3,050; Silver-P5,480; Gold-P9,740; Platinum-P12,180; VIP-P14,810; and Moshpit-P17,200.

The Eraserheads first teased a possible reunion back in October of 2021. Frontman Ely Buendia said that they would make a comeback if the former Vice President ran for the presidential elections. He backtracked that it was a "half-serious" joke when Robredo did announce her presidential bid.

Meanwhile, the hit musical show Ang Huling El Bimbo with songs coming from the band is also set to make a theatrical comeback in 2023.
